About the author

Jessica Cooke

I love drinking coffee, and my favourite thing in life (apart from my family) is to empower women to lead fitter, healthier and happier lives. (oh, and also I love playing with my two Miniature Schnauzers, Buster and Ozzy)

I’ve coached more than 6,140 women over 14 years to lead fitter, healthier and happier lives.

  • Any form of regular and routine movement of my body to get fitter is pretty new to me. I have had significant mental health issues for 33 and a half years. I have started with exercises within the 4walls of my home when nobody is around, 2 by 1kg weights, jogging on the spot, and body movements that I pick up from yourself and others on my phone. I follow you as much as I can and today is the first day in umpteen years that I feel that I am at last on the right track with food, sleep and exercise and walking away from all unhelpful negativity. I feel after 33 and a half years that I am on the road to getting back to being just ME. Thank you and others so much for your help in that regard.

  • Jessica, brilliantly delivered. Alcohol thankfully is not my problem but an unhealthy relationship with food, binging etc. is a significant problem for me for as far back as I can remember. Negative commentary by others about my body has seriously affected how I look on food. It is complete yo yoing day in day out. Starvation followed by binging. I have grown to hate myself over the years and lately started work on myself to reverse this haterd of my body. I found your podcast helpful. Thank you.
