Have you given your blood sweat and tears to everyone else but yourself? Do you feel like a shell of a person, that’s let yourself go, in ways you thought would never happen?Â
We all thought that would never happen to us, right? I gained (and lost, thankfully), 3 stone after having my second child Emily…. the clue is in the word AFTER 🙂 The stress of it all was so much, I turned to food. Food glorious food after a really crappy day, of demands and responsibilities. Mental, crazy times.
The biggest thing I learned, the ONE thing that I learned, was that you’ve nothing if you don’t your mental health. If you’re not taking care of yourself, that’s it. You go into decay. Whatever your decay is, mine was weight gain, yours might be an achey back, sore joints, or feeling stressed.
So what can you do? What ONE THING can you do to feel great and get into shape?
Exercise!
And why workout?
Because it will truly transform your life, inside and out. You’ll look good, you’ll sleep well, you’ll tackle stress head on, you’ll feel good. You’ll love your life. You’ll be happier, you’ll be more equipped to deal with tough stuff. Everything will improve!
But before you go off and jump on a treadmill, you’ve got to listen to me. I speak from experience. It took me years to find my grove of fitness because I never found the most spectacular thing that is called interval training.
I tried treadmills, and the will was there but HOW BORING. Machines? Why oh why would I use a machine to feel alive?! I want to feel my body move, I want to feel alive…. and interval training will do that for you.
It burns the most calories, in the shortest space of time.
It’s THE most effective way for women to train and it realises, more than any other type of exercise, the biggest endorphine (feel good hormones) hit. It can be done quickly, efficiently, an you feel on cloud doing it.
Do it at your own pace, don’t bust a gut, hope this helps, Jessica Cooke , Owner, Inspire Fitness X
