7 Key Strategies To Lose Weight And Keep It off

You feel bad, you don’t feel like yourself anymore.  Your clothes are tight, you feel uncomfortable, unfit, bloated, heavy, and the last thing you want to do is put your jeans on as they don’t lie. You feel all your clothes look horrible on you and you wish you felt and looked better.

Sound familiar?

There is no easy way of springing back into shape, especially if it has been a long time since you were following a fitness program, but starting with some simple, step by step guidelines will definitely help.

I’m Jessica Cooke, owner of Inspire Fitness, an award winning, private training studio for women, in Liosban. We work with women who struggle to incorporate fitness and a healthy
routine into their lives, which means that they are often overweight or unfit.

Sometimes it’s worse and has led to a poor self-image and low self-esteem.

So I’m going to share with you 7 Key Strategies that will help you lose weight and keep it off.

1. Plan.

Write a 4 week plan with what you want achieved and what you’re going to do to get there. This is crucial to your success. You need to measure your progress or you will not succeed.

2. Take a night off EVERY week.

Too many women I meet diet for 3 weeks, and then revert back to their old ways. You need to keep socialising, have a night off every week where you can do what you want.

3. Drink water.

You think you know this one, I can feel you rolling eyes, but ARE YOU DRINKING TWO LITRES EVERY DAY?

4. Measure yourself.

Get out the measuring tape, or use a pair of jeans as your progress marker, and DUMP THE SCALES. Yes, it’s true, muscle does weight more than fat.

5. Cut out carbs.

Only after 5pm. Simple, realistic but most importantly, effective. This one is so effective and has helped hundreds of my clients get their stomachs flat and toned, without going ‘no-carb’ crazy.

6. Be Accountable.

To your trainer, your husband, a friend. Without accountability it can be extremely difficult to succeed.

7.  Cut out red meat and cheese for one month. You’ll be amazed at the results.

To your success,

Jessica X
