When you’ve got low self-esteem, no diet or workout will help long term. You’ve got to build up your self-esteem and your feeling of self-worth, for you to lose weight permanently.

Sometimes when you’re really caught up in trying to lose weight, it can feel like the biggest hill to climb. You lose a bit, gain a bit, and you go around in cycles, monthly, daily, yearly. Everything gets so complicated. You count calories, weigh food, weigh yourself, do loads of workouts, binge eat at weekends, feel like you’ve lost a bit, only to feel like you’ve gained it again after a meal.

I know, I get it, I’ve been there, I could write the book on this.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned all these years helping women lose weight and #FEELGOOD?

Keep it simple. Be held accountable to simple things. Work on your self-esteem and your mindset, all the while following a really simple program. If it’s not sustainable (high protein, high fats???), if you can’t do it long term, why do it in the first place? Yes OK you’ll feel great for that event, but you’ll feel ten 10 worse after. Shakes, bars, high fat, high protein, counting points… Are you going to do that forever?

Free yourself from the constant marketing of the next best thing. Know that you know all there is to know. Yes you may need help and support, but you don’t need a new diet.
