10 Tips To Feeling Terrific In Your Clothes

There comes a point when you have to get real with yourself. You’ll know it and remember it when it happens to you.

For me, it was when I was three stone overweight, (working out consistently BTW), and complaining that I wasn’t losing any weight, while sitting on the couch, drinking wine. It makes me feel physically ill when I think of myself back then. I was a ball of contradictions, and wasn’t being truthful or real with myself. But that’s the way we are as humans. It’s easy to spot the problems in other peoples lives, not so easy in your own. I would eat too much food, and genuinely wonder why I was overweight.

Does that happen to you? I mean it’s so funny! We eat too much, give out that we aren’t fitting in our clothes, be better for a couple of weeks, expect that to work miracles, be f**cked off that it didn’t and go back to the way we were!

Food is science, and we have top stop hunting for more solutions when we have them. The problem is not the solved by finding a new diet that ‘works’, it’s about figuring out what causes you to over-eat in the first place and solving THAT problem.

If you’re overweight with no medical conditions, you are eating too much food, or you are too sedentary. So you have to fix that problem. Workout consistently and eat less food, or there is a third option; stay the same as you are but learn to love yourself and stop complaining. You can’t complain, you’re the one drinking too much, eating too much, or not working out enough.

So with all that said, I’m going to assume now that you are ready to ROCK and you’ve made the decision that your goal is more important to you than eating crap.

Follow these tips and you’ll start to fit great in your clothes after about one month:

Eat 3 meals and 2 small snacks per day;

Avoid carbs after 5pm;

Workout 3 times per week;

Get 30 mins of walking most days of the week (if you’re in an office job);

STOP mid-week drinking and eating junk; (including homemade cakes)

STOP talking about it and start DOING;

Cut down on your portion size, if you’e over weight;

If you’re not happy with your weight, have ONE treat night only at the weekend;

Give up take-aways if you’re eating them once a week;

Ultimately, decide what’s more important to you, achieving your goal, or staying them same. Once you’ve made a decision, commit to to it and let it and get off the middle ground as it’s only tearing you up inside.

It doesn’t work, I’ve tried it too many times…

Hope this helps,
