The second time I gained and lost 42 pounds, was when I got post-natal depression. It wasn’t until that post-natal fog lifted, that I got back to myself.
Weight loss can be difficult if you try to diet. Dieting doesn’t work. 🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫
Neither does calorie counting, point watching, or deprivation. Calorie deficits don’t work either. I mean, they do for a time, but that means they don’t work, because the weight never stops off. You can deprive yourself for longer than a few months max. So it all goes back.
The only way to lose weight is eat more not less of the right stuff, workout, and be held accountable. ✅✅✅
i want to talk briefly about a great trick I used to help me lose the weight.
I stopped eating when I was emotional. Happy, sad, tired, I didn’t eat when I felt emotional.
If I got great news, I instantly thought, yes! let’s go celebrate with a meal!’ But I didn’t do it. When I felt down, I decided not to comfort eat. It worked.
And the habit that I built has become part of me now, I don’t think like that as much anymore. I’m saying as much because of course there’s times I want to turn to food, but it’s easier now.
You should try it, for 5 days in a row. It’s a game changer. 💪💪💪
If you’re struggling to lose weight, work at saying no to eating when you’re emotional. Any type of emotion. Happy, sad, frustrated. Work at this habit and it will become easier over time.
I hope this helps.
